Marking the beginning and the end of the salutation to the sun, it is practiced standing, feet hip-width apart, arms along the body and palms turned outwards to open the shoulders or hands joined at the level of the torso, chin slightly tucked in towards the chest to lengthen the spine.

Practicing this asana (yoga pose) promotes stability, solidity and strength… Tadasana eliminates bad positions and develops correct skeletal alignment. It also makes it possible to become aware of a good distribution of the weight of the body. Tadasana is a pose that roots us to the ground to establish a solid base to raise to the sky, similar to the top of the mountain. Calm wins over us, offering us stability, physical and mental solidity...
