Pointe de Sel brings together a hand-picked selection of private chalets in four of Savoie’s great ski resorts: Courchevel, Méribel, La Plagne and Les Arcs. We help you choose the one that truly suits your group, then arrange a bespoke stay, with one dedicated contact from your first enquiry to your departure.
Four Savoie resorts, four atmospheres

- La Plagne: Paradiski’s great family resort, with chalets at the foot of the slopes and spacious chalets for families and groups.
- Les Arcs: Charlotte Perriand’s architecture, ski-in ski-out chalets and peaceful hamlets facing Mont Blanc.

Why trust us

Pointe de Sel was founded in 2021 by Elise Turcaud, who personally oversees every stay. Elise is also the founder of Chalet du Bois Melay in La Plagne, which she fully renovated, so she understands both the expectations of discerning guests and the realities of running a chalet. About Pointe de Sel
How we choose our chalets
We only offer chalets we fully trust to welcome our guests. Each one meets clear standards:

- a wellness area for after skiing in most of our chalets: sauna, hot tub, steam room or pool.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to rent a luxury chalet in the French Alps?
The rate depends on the resort, the size of the chalet, the season and the services you choose. Christmas, New Year and the February half-term are the most in demand. The table above shows indicative starting prices for our signature chalets for winter 2026-2027, and we will give you the exact rate for your dates.
Which resort should I choose for a luxury chalet?
Courchevel and Méribel give access to Les 3 Vallées, the world’s largest linked ski area: Courchevel is the most prestigious, Méribel the most central. La Plagne and Les Arcs, linked by Paradiski, offer large chalets at the foot of the slopes in a more family-friendly atmosphere.
Can we have a private chef?
Yes. We can arrange a private chef for one dinner, a few evenings or the whole week, or delivered meals. The chalet can also be rented on a self-catered basis.
Can I rent a luxury chalet for just a few nights?
Yes. Some of our chalets accept short stays with no minimum, subject to availability and mainly outside the school holidays. See our short stays page.
Which chalet suits a large group?
La Ferme de Mon Grand-Père in Méribel sleeps up to 18 guests. Chalet du Bois Melay in La Plagne sleeps 15, and La Saulire in Courchevel and Etoile des Neiges in Méribel up to 14.
