Description
Nestled among fir trees in peaceful Méribel Village, Chalet Sapinière is a spacious 660 m² Savoyard chalet designed for families and groups of friends of up to 15 guests. Wood, stone and open fires give it its mountain soul, while the indoor pool, hammam and massage room are there for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The Golf chairlift is a few minutes' walk away and opens up the whole 3 Valleys ski area in the French Alps.
A Savoyard chalet in the heart of Méribel Village
Built in the traditional style, the chalet enjoys light from all four sides in a quiet, wooded setting, about 200 m from the village shops: bakery, grocery store, restaurant and ski shop. The resort's free shuttle bus serves Méribel centre from 7.40 am to 11.30 pm, so you can get around without the car.
Generous living spaces
The living room is arranged around a central fireplace, with a wood-burning stove as well. There is also a TV lounge and a quieter reading room. The dining room seats the whole party, and the semi-professional kitchen, with its wine fridge, works just as well for family meals as for dinners prepared by a private chef. A terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue extends the living areas.
A wellness area to recharge
Back from the slopes, the wellness area offers an indoor swimming pool, a hammam, a massage room and a gym. Massages can be arranged at the chalet.
7 bedrooms with private bathrooms
All seven bedrooms have their own bathroom. Several double beds can be split into two singles, so the layout suits couples and children alike. A children's room with bunk beds sleeps four young skiers. Bedrooms come with TVs, a safe, dressing rooms or wardrobes and blackout curtains; some open onto a balcony or terrace.
Skiing from Méribel Village
The Golf chairlift and the Lapin piste are about 250 m from the chalet and lead straight into the 3 Valleys. During the February school holidays, group ski lessons start at the top of the chairlift. For other lessons, you can ski down to the Rond-Point des Pistes or take the shuttle to La Chaudanne. The chalet has a ski room with lockers and a garage.
Included services
Breakfast is prepared and served every morning, and a housekeeper looks after the chalet daily. Beds are made on arrival, household and bath linen is provided with a mid-stay towel change, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Pointe de Sel can also arrange everything else for your stay: private chef, ski lessons and equipment hire, transfers and childcare.
