Description
Recently built in a new quarter of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Chalet Gentiane sleeps up to 15 guests across about 300 m², a short walk from the slopes, the gondola and the village shops. Its highlight is a large living space under a cathedral ceiling, made for families and friends to get together.

The living area sits beneath high timber beams around a central wood fireplace. Lounge, dining area and a fully equipped open kitchen (wine fridge, two coffee machines) form one generous space, extended by a west-facing terrace for the late-afternoon sun and views over the Belleville valley.

Five double bedrooms with 180 × 200 beds and a children's room with bunk beds (5 beds of 90 × 200). Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, six in all; two bedrooms have a dressing room and one has a terrace.

After skiing, a sauna, an outdoor hot tub and a gym await. Board games and books are on hand for evenings by the fire.

A chalet in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is the authentic village of Les 3 Vallées, the largest linked ski area in the world. At about 1,450 m altitude, its stone and timber chalets cluster around the baroque church, and the lifts leave directly from the village to reach Méribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
Chalet Gentiane stands in a new quarter of the village, 100 m from the Saint-Martin gondola and 150 m from the ski school. The village centre, with its traditional restaurants and shops, is a few minutes' walk away. From the west-facing terrace, the view opens over the Belleville valley.
For non-skiers, the valley can be explored on snowshoes, on ski-touring routes, on groomed walking paths or on a dog-sledding trip. In summer, hiking, mountain biking and mountain lakes take over. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is easily reached from Moûtiers station, about twenty minutes away, and from Chambéry, Lyon and Geneva airports.
