Imagine a past where during harsh winters life was bustling in the stable, a room adjacent to the cows, goats and chickens. It was the refuge against the cold, with warm blankets near the animals. The barn, above the stable, stored the hay harvested in summer, ensuring the animals’ survival during the long winter months.

The chalet’s owner recounts: “In spring, my family moved to a modest adjacent house, a tradition continuing until autumn. I was born during the Christmas period, in this place we affectionately called ‘the stable’. Today, an extraordinary renovation project has preserved this heritage by breathing new life into it, restored every original stone to recall the era when this barn and stable were the heart of our home. Authentic architectural elements have been carefully preserved, integrating modern fittings for contemporary comfort.”
