Located at the entrance to La Plagne 1800, Chalet de la Grande Rochette is particularly well suited to large families and groups of friends looking to stay right by the slopes.
Spread over 235 m² and four levels, it can accommodate up to 15 people across seven bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. This layout allows everyone to keep their privacy while sharing large communal spaces.
Several bedrooms can be arranged with double beds or single beds, making it easy to organise sleeping arrangements according to the make-up of your group.
A large living room facing the mountains
Set on the top level, the spacious living room is the heart of the chalet. Beneath the exposed roof beams, the lounge is arranged around the central fireplace and opens onto two balconies: one with a breathtaking view of Mont-Blanc, the other overlooking the slopes and the forest.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and the large table seating up to 15 guests offer a convivial setting for sharing breakfasts, dinners and long evenings at the chalet.
Relaxation after skiing
After a day on the slopes, you can enjoy the private sauna, complete with a shower and toilet. A 5-seater outdoor hot tub, shared with the neighbouring Chalet Jovet, is also accessible every other day.
The private ski room, equipped with boot dryers and storage for equipment, makes daily life easier for skiers. A laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer completes the chalet's amenities.

The village of La Plagne 1800 enjoys simple, swift access, whether you travel by train, by car or by plane.
By train, arrival is at Aime-La Plagne station: expect approximately 4h50 from Paris, 3h20 from Lyon and 5h20 from Marseille, then 30 minutes of transfer to the Plagne 1800 resort.
By car, La Plagne is reached in around 6h30 from Paris, 3h30 from Lyon and 4h45 from Marseille.
By plane, the international airports of Geneva and Lyon offer convenient access, with around 2h45 of transfer to the chalet in Plagne 1800.
