An authentic chalet steeped in history

Imagine a past when, during harsh winters, life thrived in the cowshed, a room adjoining the cows, goats and hens. It was the refuge against the cold, with warm blankets close to the animals. The barn, above the cowshed, stored the hay harvested in summer, ensuring the animals’ survival through the long winter months.

The chalet’s owner recounts: “In spring, my family would move into a modest house next door, a tradition that continued until autumn. I was born during the Christmas period, in the place we affectionately called ‘the cowshed’. Today, an extraordinary renovation project has preserved this heritage by giving it new life, restoring each original stone to recall the era when this barn and cowshed were the heart of our home. The authentic architectural features have been carefully preserved, integrating modern fittings for contemporary comfort.”

A free shuttle in front of the chalet takes you to the Saint Martin gondola, leading you in six minutes to the slopes of Les Trois Vallées. From there, skiers can explore the whole of the world’s largest ski area. Les Trois Vallées links Méribel, Courchevel, Les Ménuires and Val Thorens with over 600km of pistes for every level and with exceptional snow cover.
