Ideally located at 2,100m altitude, you're a few steps from the ski slopes (almost ski-in/ski-out, the pistes are 30 metres from the chalet), at the heart of a calm setting. Admire the splendid view over the snowy peaks of Savoie, the La Plagne slopes and Mont Blanc. Clip on your skis and head down the slopes of the Paradiski area, the world's 2nd-largest ski area linking La Plagne with the resorts of Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry. Enjoy abundant snow throughout the season thanks to La Plagne's exceptional high-altitude location.

The ski school meeting point is in the centre of Plagne Village, 300 metres from Chalet Riva, accessible via the slopes or on foot.

Ski return is possible almost to the foot of Chalet Riva (ski-in chalet).

A luxury chalet for 15 guests

Chalet Riva was entirely renovated in 2024. This large, elegant and spacious chalet sleeps up to 15 guests in 7 comfortable, carefully decorated bedrooms. For added privacy, each bedroom is en suite with bathroom.

Freshly renovated with raw, traditional materials, the premium chalet offers an authentic, chic atmosphere: stone and wood outside, natural and elegant materials inside — aged wood on the walls, velvet, cotton, wool, soft colours, dimmed lighting. You'll be charmed by the warm atmosphere and refined decoration with a nod to the mountains of yesteryear. From the sun-drenched lounge, you'll enjoy the view over the snowy Alps and a convivial moment comfortably settled on the sofa by the fireside.

Chalet Riva welcomes you across nearly 300m², with space allowing everyone to enjoy their stay in complete privacy and conviviality.

Chalet Riva adjoins the small Little Riva chalet for 4 to 6 guests, which can extend the rental to 18, 20 or 21 guests.

A spa chalet for your relaxation

Nothing beats immersing yourself in the Swedish bath on the terrace to unwind after a fine day's skiing. Chalet Riva's Nordic bath is a large wooden barrel filled with hot water.

You'll appreciate the view over the snowy Alpine mountains from the terrace and the calm provided by the Nordic bath.

A sauna will also offer revitalising moments of relaxation after skiing.

Relaxation activities can also be organised at Chalet Riva, such as massages or yoga sessions at the chalet.

A ski chalet ideal for skiers and non-skiers

The ideal location of Chalet Riva in La Plagne at the foot of the slopes, almost ski-in/ski-out, offers skiers the chance to discover the La Plagne Paradiski ski area in the best conditions. La Plagne Paradiski offers nearly 425km of pistes for every level, for beginner or experienced skiers, and a diversity of landscapes (glacier at 3,000 metres, forest pistes, playful 'fun slopes' areas, boardercross, off-piste, etc.). La Plagne benefits from optimal snow cover with over 70% of pistes located above 2,000 metres altitude and excellent piste preparation.

Non-skiers will also enjoy their stay at Chalet Riva in La Plagne for its setting conducive to relaxation. From Chalet Riva, you can walk to the 'Dou du Praz' plateau, which offers a magnificent panorama over Mont Blanc and the surrounding Alpine peaks. This famous La Plagne plateau is ideal for walks on foot or in snowshoes. Snowshoe outings accompanied by a passionate mountain guide are organised there to introduce you to the rolling, fairytale landscapes of the La Plagne sinkholes. You'll also be able to enjoy cross-country skiing or dog-sledding rides, much loved by families.

In Plagne Village, you'll enjoy easy access to every amenity. In the immediate vicinity, you'll find a ski rental and a bread depot. The other shops are 10 minutes' walk away or accessible via La Plagne's free public shuttles.
