An ideal location at the foot of the slopes

Ideally located at 2100 m altitude, you are steps from the ski slopes (almost ski-in/ski-out, slopes are 30 metres from the chalet), and at the heart of a calm environment. Admire the splendid view of the snow-covered Savoie peaks, La Plagne slopes and Mont-Blanc. Clip on your skis and head out to ski the Paradiski slopes, the world’s 2nd largest ski area connecting La Plagne with the resorts of Les Arcs and Peisey Vallandry. Enjoy abundant snow throughout the season thanks to La Plagne’s exceptional high-altitude location.

The ski school meeting point is in the centre of Plagne Village, 300 metres from Chalet Riva, and accessible by slopes or on foot.

The ski return is possible almost to the foot of Chalet Riva (ski-in chalet).

A luxury chalet for 15 guests

Chalet Riva was fully renovated in 2024. This large, elegant and spacious chalet accommodates up to 15 guests with 7 comfortable and carefully decorated bedrooms. For more privacy, each bedroom is en-suite with bathroom.

Just renovated with raw and traditional materials, premium Chalet Riva offers an authentic and chic atmosphere: stone and wood outside, natural and elegant materials inside: aged wood on the walls, velvet, cotton, wool, soft colours, dim lights. You’ll be charmed by the warm atmosphere and refined décor with a nod to the mountains of yesteryear. From the lounge, bathed in sun, you enjoy the view of the snow-covered Alps and savour a convivial moment comfortably installed on the sofa by the fire.

Chalet Riva welcomes you across nearly 300 m², with a space allowing everyone to enjoy their stay in privacy and conviviality.

Chalet Riva adjoins the small Little Riva chalet for 4 to 6 guests, which can extend the chalet rental for 18, 20 or 21 guests.

A chalet with spa for your relaxation

Nothing better than immersing yourself in the Swedish bath on the terrace to unwind after a good day of skiing. Chalet Riva’s Nordic bath is a large wooden barrel filled with hot water.

You’ll appreciate the view of the snow-covered Alps from the terrace and the calm provided by the Nordic bath.

A sauna also offers reinvigorating relaxation moments after skiing.

Relaxation activities can also be organised at Chalet Riva such as massages or yoga sessions.

An ideal ski chalet for skiers and non-skiers

The ideal location of Chalet Riva in La Plagne at the foot of the slopes, almost ski-in/ski-out, offers skiers the opportunity to discover the La Plagne Paradiski ski area in the best conditions. La Plagne Paradiski offers nearly 425 km of pistes for all levels, for beginner or experienced skiers, and a diversity of landscapes (3000-metre glacier, forest pistes, fun slope playful zones, boarder cross, off-piste…). La Plagne benefits from optimal snow cover with over 70% of pistes located above 2000 metres altitude and excellent piste preparation.

Non-skiers will also appreciate their stay at Chalet Riva in La Plagne for its environment conducive to relaxation. From Chalet Riva, you can walk to the ‘Dou du Praz’ plateau which offers a magnificent panorama of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Alps peaks. This famous plateau in La Plagne is conducive to walks on foot or in snowshoes. Snowshoe outings accompanied by a passionate mountain guide are organised to discover the rolling and magical landscapes of La Plagne dolines. You can also do cross-country skiing or dog sledding outings, very appreciated by families.

You’ll benefit at Plagne Village from easy access to all amenities. Right next door, you’ll find a ski rental shop and bread shop. Other shops are 10 minutes’ walk or accessible with La Plagne’s free public shuttles. First floor:

• 3 double bedrooms with separable double bed 180×200, with en-suite shower
• One bedroom with double bed 160×200 (non-separable), with en-suite bathroom with shower,
• One bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds 90×200 (sleeps 2) with en-suite shower

Lower level -1:

• A sauna,
• A games room.
