We are pleased to offer a stay 100% adapted to People with Reduced Mobility, thanks to a chalet completely equipped for this public: Les Tarines. It is located in La Chenal, a hamlet located between Bourg Saint Maurice and Les Arcs, in Haute Tarentaise.
This charming locality, made up of around ten houses, is a real haven of peace offering a breathtaking view of the valley and the Beaufortain mountains. Located at nearly 1300 meters above sea level, the village benefits from the advantages of the mountain air, a rejuvenating calm, great exposure to the sun, and an exceptional panorama.
Les Tarines is a chalet specially designed to accommodate families with a person with reduced mobility. It offers on the ground floor a spacious twin bedroom with its wheelchair-accessible shower room, 3 other double bedrooms and a 6-bed dormitory. An elevator leads to the large living room which is located on level +1.
This one, bright and offering an idyllic view of the mountains, consists of a large living space (open kitchen, dining room, living room) where there is plenty of space, and where the layout of the elements allows optimal circulation. in a wheelchair.
A sauna, whose health benefits are numerous (stimulation of blood circulation, relief of rheumatism, strengthening of immune defences) completes the equipment.

In summer, we offer paragliding trips in complete safety. Thanks to a specific harness, the flight can take place serenely and comfortably. The instructors are specially trained for this type of equipment and flight. All you have to do is let yourself be carried away in the air, open your eyes and lungs wide, and discover the mountain from a unique point of view...
To also make discover the mountain to all, Pointe de Sel has identified many walks accessible to People with Reduced Mobility. The mountain is not always synonymous with slope and elevation, and it is quite possible to find flat paths, even at altitude! The advantage of this is also to be able to reduce the mechanical stresses at the osteo-articular level, which are often limiting.
For example, let yourself be guided to the Col de la Chal which culminates at 2600 meters above sea level in the Les Arcs area. The Transarc gondola, wheelchair accessible from Arc 1800, will take you there in just under 15 minutes. The trip alone is worth the detour, and its cumulative drop of 837 meters is a real spectacle!
Once up there, let your gaze wander between the Aiguille Grive, the Haute Tarentaise valley, the Bellecôté glacier near La Plagne, the sites of Arc 2000 and Arc 1950, and of course, Mont Blanc , the backdrop for this breathtaking spectacle. From the Col de la Chal you can reach the bottom of the Grand Col chairlift in a few hundred flat meters, and enjoy another view of the surrounding peaks.
Pointe de Sel also offers more rural walks, near the valley. For example, the Vergers de la Ballastières path, within the Vanoise National Park, is a delight in itself. During the walk (about 45 minutes) on this accessible and landscaped path, discover the memory and awareness of a natural heritage: the varieties of apples.
